For the past few years 1Five Events has been providing Dallam School with event production for their annual play. From revolutionary Paris in Les Miserables to Narnia in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, we have helped the teachers and students immerse their audiences in the productions whilst also giving the students a glimpse into a professional production atmosphere.
In addition to the school’s modest existing rig, we have brought in effects lighting, atmospherics and professional grade microphones to enhance the fantastic performances.
As well as supervising and running the show, we also provide opportunities for willing students to get involved and learn what it takes to put this production together from a technical perspective, giving on the job training to a small team of students. This moves from training during rehearsals to them being given industry standard roles during the show nights, all supervised by our youth-friendly, CRB checked technicians.
